Information I Collect

I collect details when you fill in the signup form, the login form or the contact form on this site. That usually means your name, email address, phone number and the car and driving details I need to review your auto insurance cover.

Some technical details, such as browser type, device type, the page you came from and general location, are recorded automatically when you visit. These are not tied to your name unless you have sent me a form.

How I Use Your Information

I use the details you send to review your cover, answer your questions, help you request a quote, support you during a claim and keep a record of what you and I have discussed.

I may also use information to improve this site, to see which pages are useful and to keep the site safe from misuse.

Text Message Consent

If you check the optional text message box at signup, Diemer Insurance Agency may send automated marketing and promotional text messages to the phone number you provide about my car insurance consulting services, coverage check-in invitations and tips on insuring high-value cars. These texts are for marketing and promotions only. Account, quote and policy updates are never sent by text.

Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Consent is not required to request a quote or purchase any product or service. You can opt out at any time by replying STOP, or reply HELP for help. You can also email info@diemerinsuranceagency.com with “Unsubscribe” in the subject line to opt out of marketing and promotional messages.

Supported carriers include AT&T, Boost, MetroPCS®, Sprint, T-Mobile®, US Cellular®, Verizon Wireless, Virgin Mobile and others. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

Cookies and Site Data

Cookies and similar storage keep basic settings in place, remember form progress and show me how the site performs. Most browsers let you block or clear cookies, though some parts of the site may work differently once they are turned off.

Sharing With the Insurance Carrier

When you ask me to help you request a quote, I may pass the details needed for that request to the licensed insurance carrier that would issue the policy. I may also use service providers who help me run this site and deliver documents. They may only use the information for the task it was shared for.

I may also disclose information where the law requires it, where a legal claim needs defending or where fraud or misuse is suspected.

How Long I Keep Records

I keep records for as long as your account is active, and after that for as long as I need them to meet insurance, tax and legal record keeping rules. When that period ends, I delete the records or make them anonymous.

Keeping Your Information Safe

I use reasonable safeguards to protect the information I hold, including encrypted connections and limited access to stored records. No method of sending data over the internet is completely secure, so please take care with anything you send by email.

Your Choices and Rights

You can ask for a copy of the information I hold, ask me to correct it, stop marketing messages or ask me to delete your records where no legal duty requires me to keep them.

California Privacy Rights

If you live in California, you can ask what personal information I hold about you and ask me not to share it. I will respond to these requests as the law requires.

Children and Minors

This site is for adults who can legally hold an auto insurance policy. I do not knowingly collect details from anyone under 18, and I delete any such records I find.

Changes to This Policy

I may update this policy when my service or the law changes. The effective date at the top of this page shows the current version. If you keep using the site after an update, the new policy applies.
